Do Ecco Gore-Tex shoes stretch over time?

I bought a pair of Ecco Gore-Tex hiking shoes, and it's a tiny bit tight (narrow) in my right foot, but fits perfectly to my left foot. If I go 1 size up, then it's too loose in the left foot while fits ok in the right foot. Afaik these shoes are made of yak leather, which according to my Googling, don't stretch much. I was wondering if anyone else have worn Ecco's Gore-Tex line and know if they stretch much over time? If the right foot stretches even a little bit I think it'll be perfect.

You need a wider shoe.

One size up is almost one cm longer and would be worse than a tight shoe because your foot could slide forward and back inside the shoe and cause other problems.

I think if they do not fit in the store, they won't fit in a month.

I have a few Ecco shoes and they can be stretched a little. That being said, I always buy shoes that feel comfortable from the start. Nothing worse than spending money on shoes that hurt your feet at the end of the day as feet tend to swell up a little by then.
