do i have a hybrid drive

I was told that my new laptop has a hybrid drive. but I cannot find any way to validate it without opening it the back. how can I verify it? here is a screenshot of the drive using fresh diagnose.

Googling the model # shows its just a 7mm 2.5" HDD... not a SSHD

I understand Momentus series were all hybrid drives but branded as HHD (Hybrid Hard Drive) initially. The branding was later changed to SSHD.

basically they put more cache in the drive to simulate speed like ssds.

I think Momentus is the general name/brand they used for their 2.5" HDDs.

You could be right. I have a hybrid drive in an old laptop of mine. I will open the cover and check what does it say. It is possible that Momentus was general brand for 2.5" HDDs while Momemtus XT was used for HHD.

A lot of laptops also use a cache drive setup which is basically very similar to a hybrid drive. But you'd have an additional (usually) 32GB cache drive in another slot, it's not part of the main HDD.

How did it not occur to you to google ST500LM021? It's right there? Come ooooon bro.
Also wth is fresh diagnose? Probably has malware in it. Why not use Windows disk management?
