Do I need membership for Perkopolis deals?

I often see computer deals with a Perkopolis password. Are these deals for people who have membership with Perkopolis, or can anyone use these deals through the password?

Thanks

I did. It seems that Perkopolis is corporate perk for employees.

But I get sense from computer forum when it provides Perkopolis password that anyone can redeem the sale price using that password.

Hence the ambiguity of the situation.

Perkopolis is basically just a portal you go through to access other store sites. To access each store's site and get the discounts, there's usually a special URL or maybe a passcode or coupon code. It varies from store to store.

If you know someone that has access to Perkopolis then getting the discounts is pretty straightforward. From a technical standpoint though, there doesn't really seem to be anything preventing someone without a Perkopolis account from also getting the discounts.

If you know someone that has a Perkopolis account and they can provide you with the discount link or code or whatever then there isn't really anything stopping you from using it to get the discounted items. From I've seen, there isn't really any further verification once you get to the store's website.

Thank-you for the thoughtful and clear response.

The Computers and Electronics forum often post a password along with any Lenovo deal. I guess this is for people who don't have Perkopolis through their work place.

"From a technical standpoint" this seems to work, although it's uncertain if this approach circumvents the spirit and the letter of the system. I suppose this is not an issue for most people.
