So is the only solution to just unplug whatever I have on my USC-C port and swap it with my other peripheral. It seems kind of absurd that they have a tonne of USB A hubs but no USB C hubs.Keigotw wrote: ↑ a hub with only USB-C ports .. no
is always USB-C to USB-C + USB-A ports
some with card reader and HDMI / VGA ports

Most electronics are slowly making the switch over to USB C ports nowadays but it seems we are only limited to one port. New cellphones use USB C, wireless earphones are charged by USB C, mouses, etc.Gee wrote: ↑ @wolf30
There is a reason why the docks only include a USB C pass through. Most of these docks require power. Since USB C has power delivery,
If you plug a dock into your notebook and your notebook charger to the dock, you may lose 30% of the total power to that single USB C port on the dock. Imagine if you had multiple USB C ports.

The tech is there. You can get up to 100 watts on USB C, that technically should power 4 ports plus the notebook
