I hate Timmy's yet I always go there! I hate it how they can screw up my order EVERY SINGLE time I am there. I usually order a half cup of coffee with half cup of milk. I like it nice and cool when I drink it. How is it that everytime I go there, they screw it up and it's still blazing hot and very dark brown when I get it. It really pisses me off. I mean it must take SOME GREAT skill to screw up coffee after you make it 500 times a day!

Yes, they have supervisors that just won't quit. Last weekend on the way to Blue Heron Casino, me and my buddies stopped off at Tim Hortons in Port Perry. We got there just in time as there was only one person ahead of us. It took a few minutes for them to get their order. Well, it was finally our turn and it took about 5 minutes to get our order which was simple a Triffle & Cheese Danish. I asked for a strawberry banana trifle, she said that she thinks it's cherry, so she went to go ask the cook (she insisted). She came back a couple minutes later and said that it was cherry, even though the sign said strawberry. I found that a bit odd. So I decided to get the Blackforest Trifle. My buddy piped up and said can he get a spoon for that, all they had was knives and forks at the counter. Off she went to find a spoon, and she came back a couple of minutes later with a knife. I pointed out that it was a knife, and she said she'd go back and get a spoon. I practically had to argue with her to tell her not to worry about it that I'll just use a fork. She then had difficulty operating the register. So the other person took over for her and cashed us out. We asked her about this lady, and she said that she just won't quit and that they're trying to get rid of her. Then we finally got our stuff and left, by that time the lineup was leading to the parking lot. I don't know if it's more funny or sad.

Sounds like she was a retired old lady looking to make a few extra dollars. All she wants to do is be helpfull.

Now if she was some teenager, get outta here.

I do remember one user on this forum that works for Tim Hortons. He provided the recipies for their Egg Salad Sandwitches and several other ones in the Food & Drink Forum. Hey, wait a second. That is here. Go through the old posts and you will find him

It's bad that Tim Horton's wont take exchanges for the new poppy quarters. A co-worker tried to get one from four different Tim Hortons, all of which told him that he would have to make a purchase first.

Apparently Tims has a company policy of not exchanging money without a purchase. When he tried to convince them that he just wanted a commenorative quarter an employee told him to leave or they'd forcibly remove him from the store. He wasn't being obnoxious, just tying up the line asking for a quarter.

Give me a break! Tim Horton's is not a bank. I don't blame them for not wanting to do the exchange. Some people...

Take that Tims, I think they've gotten themselves on the RC Mint's blacklist :)

Regardless the Mint has asked them to stop.

So flip'em a $20 and buy a timbit and ask for a roll of quarters.
Better yet, buy a coffee and ask if u can buy a roll of quarters with....a roll of normal quarters
