Does Dreamlink or Formuler z7+ boxes support subtitles for VOD?

When I open VOD, there's an option for selecting subtitles. But it's empty.
Is it dependent on the provider? Or can I add subtitles manually? Or set it to automatically search the web and download like in Kodi?
