I have a few TD Canada Trust accounts and there is no notification of deposits or withdrawals that can be set up like Tangerine. With Tangerine, my accounts are set to send me an email for all withdrawals/debits to my account in excess of $0.01 as well as all credits/deposits to my account in excess of $0.01. TD Canada Trust doesn't have this feature.
I don't use the TD Canada Trust app much so I can't write/talk much about that regarding if there are any instant notifications via their app.
I personally find it annoying that there isn't any instant email notifications of transactions with TD Canada Trust.

Try TD MySpend app. I use it on android phone. I get some alerts which I used to get by text before.
I see my TD Visa dn bank withdrawal app alerts. TD Visa has stopped text alerts. I have yet to see alerts for deposited but have not spend time on app for configurations.
