Anyone want to coat themselves up with the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer and go out on the beach for 3 days in the baking sun to test that out for RFD to make sure it works? :/

Even if it is expired. I'd still buy it.

I found a Spray Sunscreen in my house. Dated expiry 2014 lol

Yesterday i went shirtless (Lowermainland, BC) Used it for my walk/jog in the Sun With Face for 2 ½ hours . Sunscreen did its job. YMMV Smiling Face With Open Mouth And Smiling Eyes

Unfortunately only spf 30. I'd look for spf 60 if I was going out in the sun for a longer period of time, but for short exposure, this would be fine.

Expiry dates also take into consideration the deterioration of the packaging/container as that can make the product unsafe. It's not only about the item/food/chemical losing it's half life or going bad.

Heck. After that Jog. I used the "Hawaiian After Sun" I bought back in 2014 for my Cancun Trip.

Moisturizes, like it came out of the factory Factory

Is it smart that I used it? Probably not. NO!

Did it do its job. Ooooh Yeahhhh

Over the last two decades of scare hype, there are still no clinical studies on humans showing any negative health-related consequences to oxybenzone (which is the primary organic compound that acts as a UV filter in the Neutrogena sunscreen). Also.... Daily Hive is hardly a reputable source lol.... actually even more interesting is that if you keep scrolling down past that article, the next article ('Beauty Files: Sun safety and sunscreen') even goes ahead and says:
What are the dangers of oxybenzone in sunscreens? Can it really cause hormonal or fertility problems when used in sunscreen?
Oxybenzone is commonly used in sunscreen because it is one of the few ingredients in sunscreen that effectively protects our skin from both harmful UVA and UVB rays. As we know, overexposure to either UVA or UVB rays can cause cancer. No data shows that oxybenzone causes hormonal problems in humans or, in fact, any significant health problems.
What is factually known about oxybenzone is that it bleaches coral reefs and should not be used if you're going into the water.

Thanks OP.
Dermatologists of Canada have Neutrogena on their list of approved sunscreens

https://dermatology.ca/recognized-products/sunscreen/

Some Neutrogena sunscreens leave darker skin with a white/ashy look, so just a caution.

Don't use expired sunscreen. The manufacturer does not guarantee the active ingredients still provide sun protection if used after expiry date.

SPF30 is recommended by Dermatologists of Canada. If the sunscreen is applied properly and re-applied according to the directions, no need to go higher than SPF30

All sunscreen are the same right?

Whether it be Brand name or store brand

Or kids vs adult. They're all the same? Should be

Don't even know why I'm asking this. Since I'm willing to use 7 years old expired products
