Oh wow I have to try to grab one of these. I don't need it, but if it is quality knives, why not. Thanks op

The label appears to be product made specifically for Dollarama.

That should say something.

You could always buy a box full and swap them out rather than sharpening them. Still cheaper than the Made in Italy ones.

These are either knock-offs or counterfeit. Either way, if the China factory is preprinting a label of $4 right into the packaging, how could they be worth hundreds of dollars or made with anywhere the grade steel or quality the Made in Italy ones are manufactured with?

You can be sure these will with time have the blade chip and splinter, and the likely low quality wood handle will separate.

Not a deal, must be knock offs or a Dollarama version using much inferior materials.

As always, if the dollarama price tag is imprinted on the label and not a sticker attached to it, then its NOT a deal, as it is originally made to cost that. Not a warehouse of high RRP stuff being sold to Dollarama to clear stock.

Normally I agree, anything with a dollarama label built in, vs a dollarama sticker is usually a product made for dollarama. However if they are using a legit companies name, I highly doubt that company would allow dollarama to ruin its reputation. There is a possibility that dollarama have simply made their own label or packaging for the product.

Is that true? I really don’t know myself

It doesn’t seem crazy that they put a sticker that says bread knife, the price, and a barcode on something they acquired in bulk

I don't know how a bread knife (any bread knife) could be worth hundreds of dollars. So the question is , is this bread knife worth $4 ?

let's settle this once and for all. someone buy these knives and see if they'll cut through your shoe. for all of you who are convinced they are poor quality, perform this test with the shoe on your foot.
