[Dollarama] Dollarama Deals (Feb 6, 2023)

As seen at the Landsdowne location in Richmond, BC.

These are the non-Dollarama branded products (ie. The hidden gems). Dollarama has decent Dollarama branded products but that's not the idea of my posts. I'm looking for the good stuff.

These products may not be restocked and are probably not typically carried.

What are the Minnie/Daisy, Little Mermaid, Avengers circle things with the metal bars? Are they like fold out stools or something?

Yup, foldable stools. They had various characters available.

My wife picked this up today for $5, seems like a steal for what it is. It is quite large. Kids store their stuffies in it and it turns into a bean bag chair.

The Calphalon spoon looks like a useful kitchen tool. Is it silicone? I could use one of those. However, I do agree the price is a bit overinflated at $5. I'd buy that for maybe $3 or $3.50. It is what it is and I can't seem to find anything like it anywhere else like Dollar Tree. So you either "pay the piper" or not buy at all into this nonsense.

Dollar Tree has a lot of kitchen gadgets for a better price, but they're generally the hard plastic type which doesn't work very well for non-stick pans.

I've also noticed that Dollarama has been going upscale and have opened massive "supercentre" sized stores in prominent locations in malls and the rent isn't exactly cheap for those locations even though their renovations are very basic and spartan -- and will have the price tag to match. They have also installed self-checkout stations as well, which also take up more room in the checkout area, thereby reducing merchandising space. So if they're selling less, the price will also have to go up to compensate.

Thanks for the post, OP!
Why settle for full retail price when you can wait and get it at a lower price for better value (even better if there's a bundled freebies deal)? 😉

Actually the reason things get liquidated usually has nothing to do with the product it usually has to do with the supply chain management of the parent store and/or a store going bankrupt.

And still love how the Dollarama haters make it sound like any product will automatically self destruct when they stick on that green price tag. Like yes they tamper with the products before they sell them

Sure there are some stinker products that had horrible MSRP, but still love my $4 HomeKit powerbar. Sure smart features sucked at MSRP of $100. But great dumb powerbar with independent power switches.

And this flood of Tylt power banks. The 5000mAh one is good because it’s a 12W output. Can charge a tablet with it.
