Happy Thursday! Here is the second Special Edition: Toys.

The Special Edition threads will include products in specific categories (ie. Seasonal, gardening, toys, etc) and events (ie. Christmas, Halloween, etc).

In terms of toys, there are a lot of Dollarama branded "Montoy" brand toys. I've tried to weed out all of those to find the hidden gems (ie. Non-Dollarama products).

As seen at the Bridgeport and Landsdowne mall location in Richmond, BC.

The Frozen and Trolls activity tins are a great deal as they retail for $14.99 (sticker shown in pics).

I know, wondering if it is a nostalgia item that didn't sell? Or so old that it's from a 1970s run?

I looked into it and it's modern and was issued in 2019 by Sunny Days Entertainment, design is from 1970s.

Sort of related, kind of interesting.

It says expansion though so I'm not sure if it's the same thing?

I've found some really old looking items at Dollarama. The packaging is discolored or faded and it looks like it's been sitting around for decades. Idk if they just storage items that don't sell and then pull then back out at a later time or whether they buy up ancient stock.
