Was in dollarama in Burlington ON and saw official DC comics there, even a few hard cover volumes, prices on the book were around $30 CAD.

Amazon has the hard cover from the pic for $29.99

This has been available for almost a year, titles vary based on location.

They also restock with new titles from time to time. I haven't seen that Wonder Woman or the Detective Comics books before, but that Arkham Knight has been around since the beginning.

Can you actually buy non-essential stuff in Dollarama now?

I saw it in Ontario, but cash register didn't allow it to ring through even though isles were open. Was told the retail limits were extended to June 15 :S

This would be good to give to kids depending on the titles. The stores around me all seem to have a varied selection. Me? I work at a comics store so they are the last thing I want to look at...

This is not sold by Amazon... it's sold by 'greatbuying' - probably someone who bought it at Dollarama and listed it on Amazon!

No. They either have it blocked off, or it doesn't ring at the till. Or they'll just tell you you're not allowed to buy it.

I bought a few in Kitchener and a few in Brampton over the last month. They had a list of non-essentials they couldn't sell with 'BOOKS' on the list, but it was scratched off in any of the stores I went to and there were no problems buying them.

They also have Marvel books. I have picked up some Spider-Man, X-Men, some of the Civil War books and the Jeph Loeb Captain America White.

June 15 or June 16?

My understanding is the stay at home order has ended but restrictions extended till June 16.

I've never seen this in Alberta, which is good, because I'd buy most of them and I don't have room for that many books.

I found a bunch of Marvel stuff a while ago in Edmonton. Just go check the book rack. Should be some kind there.
