[Dollarama] Shoo brand: $2 bird deterrent spikes

Not a deal for everyone...

Saw these bird prevention spikes at my local Dollarama for $2 for a pair.

I've seen pigeons avoid these at Skytrain stations so buyer beware... If they are effective

Good deal compared to Amazon pricing. These spikes are ugly but the only thing I could put on my balcony to keep the squirrels away (they ripped up our patio sofa/cushions last year).

How much linear space does it cover? Is it just one strip per package?

Do these work for squirrels? Raccoons?
We're all bozos on the bus until we find a way to express ourselves...

Failure is always an option...just not the preferred one!

There's 2 strips per package. Just a guess but I think they are about 30cm long each.

Better yet…Do these work for the nosey neighbour who climbs over the fence and comes into my backyard?

I think a no trespassing sign would work better for that purpose. Lol

But in all honestly, I would hope you were kidding otherwise call the non emergency police

Dang, I just order similar from Amazon for way more.

I need this for a flat outdoor light that a robin built a nest on (but has since left).

Will keep my eye out

For some reason, birds were building nests in our neighbourhood. Specifically, the small ledges just beneath the semi circled windows. Few screws, a discarded piece of wood and glue took care of the problem, at least for my house.

Guess it can't look too much worse than this product

I usually just drive a bunch of nails through a board and place it upside down by the fence and cover with some mulch.
