DOMINICAN REP. Drone Use? Permissions etc?
Who recently has taking their drone to the DR? What’s the customs experience like? I’m a amateur photographer so like to have a eye in the sky at times. Headed there with the wife in a months time.
I usually travel with my DJI spark as it’s the smallest DJi I own. I’m transport Canada licensed and the drone itself is Transport Canada & FAA registered.
I have reached out to there civil Authority there for requirements/permission. Anywhere I go I usually do my due diligence before hand with local authorities.
Anyways let me know if you have any first hand insight.

travelers you must get proper permission to bring in your drone by the IDAC Instituto Dominicano de Aviación Civíl even recreational otherwise it could be seized by customs or local authorities.
