[McDonalds] Donate a free meal to Food Banks Canada by visiting McDonald's "the giving page"

ok so this isn't a typical hot deal i know but hoping to put the rfd effect to some good use here. mcdonalds is donating a meal to food banks canada for each unique visit to their "the giving page". currently at 34,767 free meals and maxes out at 500k.

if you have a sec, why not give the link a click?

Clicked! Going to pass this link along to everyone I know too. The food banks could definitely use the help.

Better to make a donation to your local food bank than give McDonald's a tax break.

Couldn't they just donate that meal instead of making me click on a link ? I guess they want to give out some free cookies.

If you have extra cash, giving a donation to food bank is definately a good thing to do.
But it is also a good thing for people who do not have extra cash to click a page, so that the food bank can get an extra meal for those in need.
Do what you can do is enough.

They may get some branding effect. Just like people who donated a large sum of money to a hospital and got their name printed on the building so that everybody can see that.

Remember, you can double visit the page from your home internet and on your phone over 4G / 5G.

Because when you're driving down the road, McD brand sends a positive association to your brain. Just like their Ronald McD House for kids. Meh, they're alright in-terms of charity, much better than other garbage we're hounded daily.
Uh, yeah, I'd like to speak to a Mr. Tabooger, first name Ollie.
