Not bad. For Nikon the price for most items around $2k with $100 off is comparable to the lowest you will be able to swing by negotiating with other stores.

Of course any item around $1k makes this very attractive.

IF there are no quantity limits and exclusions, this is an amazing deal. Some cameras will not go on sale for a long time such as the Sony A7Siii and Canon R5. And this gives you a 15% discount.

That is IF they don't bait and switch on you for trying this. I don't think a large store like Best Buy would do this but camera stores aren't exactly swimming in profits.

This is a nice deal. Thanks OP!
Do you know how long this code is valid for? I don’t see an expiry date.
The gift card discount is also nice. May be hard to combine it with the coupon code though, unless one lives close to one of their stores as it says they will mail the cards or make them available for local pick-up. Would be a fantastic deal though, combining those two offers.

I can’t see a way to redeem gift cards online. I guess your discount gift cards have to be used in store...

yeah, if the gift cards were electronic and e-mailed immediately this would be a sick deal. Basically 25% off $1000 purchase.

Had 1200 of gift cards in my cart for 1020 along with the coupon code bringing it down to 920, but going through the checkout, there isn't a redeem gift card option during the payment stage so they may be local only.

The gift cards also ship after Jan 4, so it's a gamble that the EOS RP for $999 stays that way after the 1st.

Guess I'll have to pass, would've been pretty nice to get the RP and Viltrox adapter for 920 all in

Only way to find out is to call them directly...

1-800-561-6403

I think someone needs to Manually create the Gift Cards because it's not a Big Box Store but an Independent Store...

I'm thinking as well that you would need to call in your Order to use the Gift Card...

I've order from Don's Photo a couple of times and the service is great...

I ordered the RP body and the 24-105 F4

Around $2350 after tax.

Pretty good price. Not as low as the bundle price error a few months ago but can't really compare to price error.

Depending on what part of Canada you are ordering from you can get away with paying only 1 tax..

$2400.00 - $100.00 = $2300.00

You only having to pay $2350.00 with Taxes in sounds like you only paid 1 Tax...

When returning an item to them, do we have to pay the shipping fees?

No. I did 2 orders.

1 for the RP
And 1 for the lens

Got $200 off.

It was $999.99+$0.88 filler to get to $1000. Plus 13%. Then less $100. Approx $1031

Then $1249.99 plus 13% less $100. Approx. $1312

Edit: I noticed you linked the eos r with 24-105 kit lens. I got the RP with 24-105 f4 l

I guess the Code is only good during the Holidays...

You'd have to contact the Store to know exactly when the Code is good until...

This thread is not getting the love it deserves. A discount on already discounted Nikon lenses in unreal, made me jump on something that I was undecided about. Thanks OP!

Looks like my Ontario taxes were calculated on the amount before the discount ($1049.99 x 1.13 -$100 = $1086.49)

Yep, just got back to me too.

They said I could purchase first and then call in to apply the gift card and they would refund my original payment.

I didn't order originally, but I may have to call in to see if they'd still honour the promo. Getting them to honour the promo and also take an extra $100 off with the CP coupon may be stretching a bit here though!

Wow. That would be insane. I bought the RP and lens for around $2350 all in. If I did the gift cards, $2400 would have cost me $1840. I would have saved another $500!!

Even if I do it now, $2400 would be only $2200 which would still save me $200...

I feel like what I got is already a very decent deal. Not gonna screw over a small business... lol
