Drinking alcohol on my backyard deck?

Hi all,

My new home sits on a small slope and backs a school. Thanks to the slope, my home has a walkout basement, the fence is at basement level and my deck is raised to the first floor, overlooking the school with an unobstructed view.

So this evening, I was drinking a beer on my deck and all of sudden I asked myself "Is it legal for me to do this?"... Disappointed But Relieved Face

Hahaha,..Face With Tears Of JoyFace With Tears Of Joy

Thanks for the replies. I forgot to provide some background. I came from a country where drinking in public will not bring you police. You should see my friends' faces when I pulled out a beer to drink walking out of LCBO. (It was very hot that day). I became sensitive about these kind of thing afterwards.

Is this a serious question?

Would it be illegal if the school wasn't there?

I'm sure it's not legal to walk outside naked in view of school kids.

very illegal. I'll pm you an adress where to drop off your leftover beer to avoid any fines.

Why not? The kids would probably be laughing.

You obviously had too many beers.
When I have few too many my 80 year old neighbour begins to look like a mermaid, but we are all different ;-)
