Drip water irrigation systems reviews

I'm on the board of our condo building, and I am researching drip irrigation systems for the revamped garden areas. I'd like to have a professional lay it out and then we would have our landscaper do the plantings and cover the lines with tree bark or mulch.
Does anybody have any experience with these or suggestions?
I suggested sprinklers but was voted down because of volume of water used and most importantly ongoing maintenance it appears to require.
Thanks

Cost and maintenance will depend on how the design is laid out and what manufacture you go with. Since this is commercial I would go with either Rainbird or Toro and they do have a commercial line as well as residential quality.

Are we to assume the building already has irrigation and you only want to expand but adding one or more zones?

Thanks, no not expanding but a 1st time installation.
