Driving with slight rumbling noise or vibration

These few days I have the AC cranked up and while driving I noticed a slight rumble or vibration. The transmission chose a higher gear and the rpms dropped to about 1500rpms. I searched on youtube and some suggest to relearn adaptation for the transmission.
I still haven't done my trans oil service yet. So do the trans oil first or try adaptation first?

Resetting transmission is easy and can be done frequently. I reset mine whenever I develope heavy foot and want the gears to change sooner maintaining lower rpm. But you want high rpm, so you would want the opposite and have a heavier foot.

But I think it's more to intake valve clogging up on your vw because of vibration you feel at low rpm. See if you feel any loss in power or when at higher rpm.

I wonder why the adaptation button was not available? I cleared all dtcs before, oh well back to the drawing board (youtube).
