Had it as a student a few years ago...quite useful then. Can't find a use for it now.

I find it useful for when I'm travelling but still need to get some real work done (e.g. working at a hotel during business trip).

I have a dual monitor setup at work so using this replicates it fairly well. Otherwise I generally don't use it that much though. However, if you don't already have a second monitor but you have an ipad it makes for an inexpensive dual monitor setup.

It's not saying that it turns any iPad into supporting Pencil right?

This blurb below is exclusive to iPad Pro only right?

I am using this everyday at work as a 3rd screen, it works very very well. I also use it when I work from cafes as a 2nd screen for my laptop. Highly recommend.

The only real problem I found is that it is unfortunately not compatible with Linux.

I purchased last month at full price. Highly recommended for those wanting to use that iPad as a second or even third screen. It should be noted that this works very well on both Windows and Mac OS.

Pair it with a clip (https://tenonedesign.com/mountie.php) and you can rock Starbucks with that multiple monitor setup ;-)

I ended up ordering from Amazon.com and shipping to the border (I am in Vancouver), couldn't find a Canadian supplier with stock.

I just tried it. Regular resolution is fine, but Retina Resolution is too laggy.

I think you need still a fairly powerful computer to run it on retina resolution without lag. They've done a lot of performance optimizations since I first bought it a few years ago when it was almost unusable.

It's great though, works as advertised and also turns your laptop/PC into a touchscreen device.

Thanks. That makes the decision for me.

What models are you using though?

Is this a one-time cost to buy the app or is it an annual charge?
