I was on their company website and noticed a 50 percent off paint sale for CAA and Dulux club members. The Dulux club membership costs a one time fee of $20 but its lifetime and always get 25 off retail anytime plus eligible for special sales like this.

IMO this is one of the best deals available, there is that BOGO sale here and there but I don't always want multiples of 2 paint cans.

How would this compare to BM, just doing one bedroom.

also, they allow the quart cans to be part of sale. Quart cans are great for small projects.

I remember a few years back at Sherwin Williams 40 percent off sale, they wouldn't give me 40 percent off quart cans. I don't know if that was just that one location but after that I went to look for a more practical/better value paint store.

Both are premium paint/brands. I used all the premium brands and they are all good. I am not going to say BM paint is a better or worse, but I will say is they rarely go on sale and the discount is not as lucrative.

Is a CAA membership enough to get the discount or do I also need the sign up for the Dulux club membership?
Good, better, best. Never let it rest. 'Til your good is better and your better is best.

Thank you OP for the post, was waiting for a paint sale.

Can anyone recommend the best paint for indoor use? or recommendations? I've never used Dulux brand paint before.

what do you want to paint ? rooms or kitchen/bathroom ?

For rooms, i used Diamond which is their top of the line paint and easy to paint with. I asked the sales rep what makes the Diamond so good/expensive and he said it has ceramic microspheres which makes the paint more durable from washing/cleaning/scuff. I guess that sounds good.

For bathroom and kitchen, people use kitchen and bath line paint. I never used it myself but I guess it has mould and mildew inhibitors.

Lastly I see a lot of customers buy the low VOC paints for kids/family/health reasons. I guess the initial paint smell is high priority for them. The smell of paint does go away in a day or two.

Its a bit late as I just saw a hour ago, last day of a 3 day sale for "preferred" Sherwin Williams paint sale. Its 30 percent off, used to be 40 percent off.

But I wouldn't buy anyways, their paint is too expensive imo. I think its like $90 for a can of Emerald.

Ever since we discovered Dulux Diamond, we haven't used anything else and a friend of mine owns a BM paint store :)

It's quite thick, so usually only needs one coat, whereas we found a lot of paint needs a second. First time we got it, we got way too much of the same colour.

What paint do they have that's good for painting some cabinets? New build, do no previous paint.

I tried sico cabinet paint and it was the worst paint I used in my life. It's still tacky after 2 weeks. Called their tech support and they said because it's humid outside it will take up to 4 weeks to cure even though I painted them indoors with a dehumidifier. After trying to tell the guy that and that the can says fast drying, he said that's what it is and hung up on me. I can't wait 4 weeks to do a light sand in some imperfections before a second coat then another month. That's insane.

Thanks for the advice. It's just living room and bedrooms but at 50% off I might buy for kitchen/bathroom since they're not much square footage. I don't mind paying for quality if you know what I mean. So you would go with the diamond again? Happy with the application/lasting?

Your CAA/AMA membership is equivalent to a Dulux club membership, just need one or the other.

Diamond for sure based on the half off, we are talking only about a $5 to 10 difference between the other ones,

The only thing I can't help you with is sheen (semi gloss, matte, eggshell, satin)
