[Dyson] Dyson V15 finally come to Canada with 12% Rakuten CB $888

Jul 1th, today it’s 12% CB@Rakuten. Happy Canada Day.
Jun 30, today it’s 10% CB @Rakuten again.

Jun 17, I returned v15 Detect, then ordered V15 Absolute instead.

Update: Dyson V15 Detect Absolute is available now with 7% Rakuten CB.

I wait for v15 long time, always missed clearance v11&v10. I put the order tonight, another high end v15 is available right now.

Who said; it’s 2 years warranty , my v15 just delivered, I haven’t received it, Dyson already registered 5 years warranty for me. Attached picture below.

update: I got $95 CB already. For Ontario, I paid $1073.49 -$95=978.49 after tax, If you have higher CB credit card , you can get another more than 1% CB.

Does it green light do anything or is it just a gimmick thing?

Identifies dust particles that you'd miss in theory. Also notifies you whenever the deal you just bought was cheaper via CCC integration on the neural net WiFi Mesh Dyson PowerNetwork.

$949?!?!?!?!?!?!?! As much as I want this, the pricing is way past absurdity at this point. No amount of extra tech on a vacuum would justify the price.

I have a v10 and loveeeee using it. But I still think paying $500 for it is crazy.

Don't know how much the laser fluffy head is on its own but you can buy it and use it on the older series (7,8,10,11).

I think the omniglide is a much more attractive vacuum. I'm thinking about it...

Sounds like it's just a light at floor level, same as if you lay a flashlight on the floor and creates shadow on even small bits.

As a dyson owner, all I can say is that their products work! Before I had a zillion dust particles, but now I have none! You must buy buy buy, even if this dyson costs over 1 million dollars it's definitely worth it! Please don't use your logic and just buy a dyson!*

For those wondering, the Dyson V15 Absolute - it seems like you get HEPA filter + extra battery and charger ($150 value) + "light pipe" crevice tool which has fancy LEDs...

I had great experience with Dyson refurbs. I still have my V8H for 3.5 years and the battery is dying now.
Personally I'll probably wait for the V11H refurb sale (<$500 soon?) now that V15 is out.

Reminds me of Apple, keep pushing the prices higher and higher. Don't get me wrong, I have the V11 and another older Dyson cordless and they are excellent products, but to keep pushing the envelope on pricing to milk the loyal custies doesn't seem right.

I understand RD, marketing has a cost, but these companies are extremely profitable, so the margins seem to me are more on the milking side.
Refurb it is! (When the time comes)

I bought the absolute version with the upgraded filter, extra battery + lighted crevice tool upgrade last week...with 5% cashback. Bit annoying, but it is sold out now so there is that.

The laser isn't a gimmick. It doesn't work too well in very well lit room, but with the curtain closed it really showed me how much crap was on the floor to be picked up. The v11 will probably clean things almost as well as the v15 does but the "detect" aspect with the soft roller really works, I am quite impressed with it.

The small handheld tool seems very good for picking up hair too. Zero tangles out of an area I know had plenty to pick up.

The v11 is currently on sale, I think that is a pretty good deal with this 10% CB on top. The ideal would be to get the lower priced basic v11, and later buy the upgraded filter and led soft roller I think but I doubt they will sell it seperately for quite a while given this is a selling point of the new model.

My V6 wasn't doing so well anymore and was terrible for hardwood floors so I just bought the V15 defect.
With the 10% cashback it came to $978.49.
I'm getting buyers remorse and not sure if I need a $1000 vacume that has lasers.
Was really leaning towards the Omni-Glide but reviews are average and the V15 scored very high everywhere.

if the previous trick still works, you might qualify for another 20% off if you own another dyson product. Simply placed the order through the Rakuten cashback link, call in second day and ask about the royalty discount. You have to make sure the rep is applying the discount on your existing order instead of cancel and re-place.

They don't apply the 20% discount on new technologies such as the V15 or the Omni-glide or products that are already on sale.

umm when i bought my v10 flagship back in early 2019 they did apply the discount. IIRC the restriction only applies on the beauty items but I could be wrong.

I tried a few days ago when the v15 dropped. Doesn't qualify and I have nearly every flagship Dyson product registered.

Forgive my ignorance but what's the difference between these and those $100 RIDGID shopvacs? Other than the cordless setup of course.

I have a cordless from another brand with white LED and it is very useful on hardwood floor. I would expect green LED will be better. Too bad it is only on the roller brush, the torque head is good enough for hardwood floor too.

The biggest disappointment of v15 is Dyson keeps the small dust bin.
