Ok thanks. If you can shoot me a PM when they come in I'll arrange to bring the wheels in to get them installed (my mom has the wheels stored at Toyota currently).

Thanks for the update as I knew they were on back order in Dec.

Usually there's a reason a company is "cheap". Value and cheap are different. Value means best product/service for the dollar spent. Cheap is just that. Cheap.

I'd highly recommend the Yokohama EnVigor's in that size. I have them on my wife's accord and they are amazing for an all season tire, great grip (within reason) and quiet on the roads.

Would you suggest a ContiPro Touring (Continental) on an Acura EL at 195-60-15? My first choice is the Avid ENvigor by Yokohama. What else can you suggest for my car that gives a quiet ride while still maintaining good road-feel.
If you drive dangerously I hope you get caught and lose your license/car/dignity!

There are some better product out there for less money... Google and read about the Falken SN211 Sincera, Cooper CS4 and Hankook H727. All three of these tires will give you 150,000+ km treadlife while being extremely quiet and comfortable in all driving conditions.

Hey Takman,

They are $660.00... and with the earlybird discount, they would be $620.00+ taxes.... installed.

Got a set of Avid Envigor's (255-55-R18) installed today here. Ride is definitely improved over my stock Goodyear Eagle LS but then again they only had about 20% thread left on them and I've only driven about 50 miles so far on relatively dry pavement.

Allen's a pretty cool guy!

Only complaints I had was the original quoted price turned out to be incorrect as he was quoting from the 2010 book so just double check the pricing with him before going in (costed $50 more than my original quote this AM). Also the install took a bit longer than I was expecting. I was the only car there but then another one showed up about 15mins later but since mine was in first, I had to wait for the 2nd car to be done before I could get mine out of the garage.

It was a pretty good turnaround too seeing as I emailed on Saturday to get a quote, got a response back this morning (They're closed Sunday/Monday), called to check stock and Allen had them delivered early this afternoon. I went in and had the tires installed this evening.

In all, was a pretty decent deal on the tires and I'd most likely buy from them again. Going to the States would only have saved me about $150 on this size I figured out and with gas factored in maybe $75 so might as well get it done here.

Do you have the Yokohama Avid Envigor with size (225-45-R17)??
Is there stock in the 94W rated version and how much is it?

how about H or V rated versions?

What is the difference other than speed rating 210km/h / 240km/h / 270km/h?
Longer tread wear vs performance??

Thanks!

Thanks for coming in... I do want to mention that the price was corrected/confirmed before you came in, it's not like I gave you a suprise when you came in (we would never do that) :) ... I just wanted to clear that up, and we are updating the Envigor pricing tonight. Yokohama had a price increase January 1st, and the new books haven't been sent out to all of us yet...

H Rated - $560.00
W Rated - $580.00

W rated will have a stiffer sidewall, and is overkill IMHO.... what are you putting them on?

What about W rated?
This is going on an 2003 WRX, therefore i'm at least looking for the V or W versions.

Sorry that was a Typo... V was supposed to be W.

So, this is how it's supposed to look:

H Rated - $560.00
W Rated - $580.00

Thanks for clarifying that!

Also, are these 2 tires part of the special promotion ending today?
Therefore, minus adnother $40 on these quotes?

TY
