Slightly off topic here but has anyone recently had issues with Mobile/Esso? I filled up my car (granted, it was fairly cold out) and my 'kms till empty' was 350ish. Went to coop the next week and after a fill, kms till empty were 560ish, where it normally is. Anyone every experience something like that?

If I'm not mistaken, the points are per litres and not per dollar, so doesn't help when the prices go up as you would earn the same when the gas was cheaper.

Those kilometer estimates is the computer guessing how many kilometer you'll get fron your current tank based on how you drive and road conditions.

Estimates get wild especially when there's a full tank.

The bonus points are per litre, but when you use a PC Mastercard you should get 20 pts/litre + 10 pts/dollar.

Off topic but does anyone use SpeedPass app? I have my personal Optimum card logged to it but my mom’s Optimum card gets fantastic offers like 3K WUS $20 on gas. If I delete my card and add her card to SpeedPass, will that be an issue since it looks like I’m account hopping. I had purchased some fuel discount cards that I don’t want to lose access to.

I mean it’s better than nothing but this is a savings of about 1.8% based on gas prices here (1.67/litre), as 30 points is about $0.03 in value. But I guess every little bit helps.

This is a terrible deal...

On a 30L fill up, you are earning 900 points or $0.90

On a 50L fill up, you are earning $1.5....

What do you suggest I put in my car to make it go?

It's on top of what you already get. Here it's like 9.5 cents/Litre, this makes it 12.5 cents/Litre.

And it's not like you have very many options when it comes to gas.

Funny, the prices are basically back up to the peak of where it was a couple weeks ago. Gas prices didn't go down when it dropped to near pre-war prices in between now and then.

April 1 carbon tax. We have not even started the summer driving season yet.

And overnight, Reuters reported that Russian and Kazakhstan oil exports via the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) from the Black Sea may (read: will, now that all commodities are weaponized) fall by up to 1 million barrels per day (bpd), or 1% of global oil production, due to storm-damaged berths, a Russian official said on Tuesday.

Why the downvotes? Price gouging isn't OP's fault. 3c/litre off is better than nothing if you're low on gas.
