These reviewed high-efficiency entry level-ish bookshelves could be had for a great price at this retailer. Gibby's couldn't even do a price match (yeah I just tried).

They've well regarded by quite a few of the more popular reviewers on the 'net... Reichert from Stereophile, Guttenberg, Zero Fidelity, etc. GR Research/New Record Day on Youtube even has a guide to upgrade these should you need to scratch that DIY itch!

I never ordered from E@stporters before but the google reviews seem to suggest they're reliable. Total price is $536 shipped. Retail is $850+hst.

BE CAREFUL with Eastporters!
They took my order with full payment $$$$$ for theater seats that were "In Stock". I was told they would ship following week,18 days later I received a shipping notice. The order has not been delivered yet. They also incentivise their reviews (found out after the fact). Best to go in person if you have to shop there.

been there is person and they were fine to deal with. Best prices around.

awesome price. Highly recommended. I got it from RBC Rewards when they had a pretty steep discount that's below this price last year.
I would say this is more than enough to be an audiophile quality for most people.

They could work but you're going to want to mount them in such a way that the large rear port can breathe. Plus they're fairly big speakers to begin with.

I hope at least some of you guys were able to get this deal. Too bad it was so shortlived.

Electronicsforless or Gibbys maybe do a price beat at 650 which bring it down to 617. Still a pretty good price and it's around the same asking price for a used set.
