I wonder if occasional drift is something they would decline. I don't recall them firing up a game and testing before? One of my older xb1 controllers drifts from time to time. Would love to trade it in and get a new series x version.

Do they ever check anything? I just bring it all in a garbage bag and take my cash and run

It's an issue with all controllers isn't it? PS4/PS5 also has it.

Holy shit I forgot I had a keyword on for this event. I've been waiting for this again for like 3 years and now I've sold all my old PS4 controllers for like $20 and have a ps5. Damn

I have 6 controllers to unload and 2 Ps4 consoles 1 pro and 1 slim... LEGGO I think I might just get an X Box X whenever EB has stock since I don't really know what else I'd use the credit for and outside of the occasional game of just dance my ps4's have been collecting dust.

Not even close. I've played the PS4 literally several hours a day throughout the console cycle and never had a drift, but I did have to replace the controller twice because it stopped taking a charge.

The Switch I only play occasionally (like once a month on average) and still drifted.

I know it's anecdotal but the fact that the joycon drift is so widespread Nintendo just straight up replaces it for free is telling. There's many, many more complaints online about the joycon drift than probably all the other systems combined.

On the website it mentions "PS4 CONT 1ST DUALSHOCK- get $25". Anyone know what it's refers to with the "1st"?

The Joy-Con trade-in is pretty good. Much better than the kijiji scammers wanting you to pay $30-$35 to exchange an original pair of Joy-Con to a 3rd party one (cost about $30?).

First party only (e.g. Sony) maybe? I can't think of anything else that makes sense. I kinda doubt they care about the differences between the 1st/2nd gen controllers

The PS4 controllers only drift on the kids that don't lick the Dorito dust off their fingers while playing.

You guys might be lucky, but ps4 controllers often do have stick drift issues. Both my ones have it and I don't ever eat and play at the same time. I know it's a common problem not just among people I know but a search on the internet and on various forums can confirm this fact. Never had these issues with Xbox 360 or ps3 controllers in the past.

Does Winnipeg Still have that rule where you can't trade in controllers? I have a PS4 controller with random disconnect issues which I would like to trade in.
