Hi Guys,

I'm really skeptical about this game, but I traded in 2 games to get 2 copies( 1 copy is for the wife). Is it possible to change my pre-order to another game but still keep the value of 49.99$?

Just curious, did they let you do get 2 at the same time/same store?

Pick up both copies, return one the next day using the satisfaction exchange return guarantee. You can put that 49.99 towards anything.

Hi Josh,

That's a return, you, as an edge member, get a X day period of time for their satisfactory exchange policy.

Basically returning it for a one time credit for the full price of the game. In this case, 50$.

The X days depends on your level, onyx is 10, plat is 7 etc.

You can do this one time per item I'm fairly certain, so if you use this 50$ after returning it, its final sale.

The 50$ is essentially a credit, not cash.
They banned a few people already for doing the satisfaction guarantee loophole, so take care with that.

Wouldn't do it for both, maybe leave one on your account and swap it in a few months.

I'm assuming they ban people for misusing it. Which makes sense. I've used it over half a dozen times in the last year alone.
Cod, assassin's Creed, NHL, Detroit, tomb raider and smash bros.

Not sure this specific trade promo would count as misusing it, but it sounds like using this promo twice with the same game could fall under that category, so try returning one and leaving the other on your account, should be safe.

I'm curious how people are getting up to Onyx level of Trades with EB while still being a RFDer.

The point requirements to level up are insane.

Easy to level up when you buy to resell at a profit, like CE's and hot items.

6.5 Edge Cardholders also receive the benefit of an enhanced product returns program ("Satisfaction Exchange Benefit"). Cardholders are entitled to return any closed or open-packaged product within a specified period of time following purchase, in exchange for a store credit of original purchase value. This period is 2 days for Red Cardholders, 3 days for Gold Cardholders, 7 days for Platinum Cardholders and 10 days for Onyx Cardholders. Items purchased using this store credit will be labelled as non-refundable and may only be exchanged towards an identical item.

I've been working on getting to Onyx for like 5 years, basically all my points came from when I bought one of my 3DSes and a PS4 during 5x point promo events. You also don't get deducted points yearly at Platinum if you pay the renewal fee.

Also I think there's some people grandfathered in to perma-Onyx from before yearly point deduction was a thing. I'm sure most of the people here on Onyx did it mostly through trade-ins.

Looks like reviews for the game dropped and it seems like nothing special.. just more of FC5 but with a worse story (currently 73 metascore). Still thinking of trading in AC Odyssey for it but now I'm having second thoughts of getting more value from AC for a better game down the line. Or maybe FC: New Dawn will retain a good trade-in value since it's newer hmm.
