They might have promo for one S but i doubt they will promo regular xbox anymore. Last promo they had for the original xbox (that i remember off the top of my head) was boxing week last year... something like a $80 or $100 upgrade to 1s (think $80 but might have been $100).
ohh..i had xbox one s and I want to upgrade to PS4, I hope they have the deal like this

Just keep checking back thursday, odds are they will have something sooner or later since trade in thursday seems to be a thing all summer (at least what the rep told me last week).

You can almost play every vita game in existence with the new 3.68 hack. Something to think about.

Google it if interested.
Damn, I was about to swap a $45 ebgames giftcard for a PSTV before the person went MIA. I'm guessing the new hack is why.

Traded my launch switch for $373.75 with my Onyx card and paid $7.18 for a brand new one. Also got free thumb sticks and a copy of Zelda for $40.

Too good to pass up.
Curious as to how you got $373...

last Black Friday, they were offering PS4 pros for just $200 after trading in any PS4.

technically that was a $300 trade-in value at that time. a lot of people even got horizon zero dawn bundle with it.
It was a $200 trade-in and Sony had a manufacturer sale of $100 off all PS4 Pros.

Onyx usually stacks even on promos where it says no bonus. Even got the bonus way back when the ps4 trade for ps4 pro. Got the $250 +15% and an additional $50. Very rarely does onyx not stack for me. If they offer a bonus amount then it'll stack on the original amount. For example on the $50 guarantee trade games. If the base value is $30 and they promo a $20 you'll get the 15% added to the $30 for $34.50 and $20 added on top for $54.50. In the case of the switch the default trade for today was $325 so onyx added 15%. Other cards add nothing
That's 30 minutes away, I'll be there in 10.

Ah Onyx cards.

Too bad it takes 12,000 points to reach that level.

Just got rid of my ps4 thanks OP.

Kinda mad how they only had max 150 Visa prepaid card and I had to pay activation fee twice though.

And it takes 6000 pts to maintain, which translate to roughly $3000 worth of purchase/trade ins (or basically 40+ games) per year. Dont think i know anyone who maintains that level anymore. Before with BBV/rogers etc it would be easy to flip (but no eb membership beside the standard one) but these days much harder and not really worth it (nor is it really worth it to do T3 since most of the time the game will be on sale within a month or so).

The best time to get to onyx was during switch release, not during BBV/Rogers clear out.

Basically buying games with credits and get credits back with free points instead of buying with cash and get credits in return.

You actually need 3000 to maintain onyx. They deduct 1 point for every point short of 6000 so if you get 3000 in a year, your final balance for the year will be 0 leaving you exactly where you started. Still a ton of points per year :/

They often have bonus points or 5x points too. I got the free edge card in December 2016, shortly after the Switch release I hit onyx status because of the awesome trade promos and 5x bonus points. I'm currently at around 23000 points and I've only had the card for 20 months or so. I guarantee I've spent way less than $23000, like it isn't even close.

EB didnt introduce their card system until after the clear out tho at that time, a lot of flip potential where you could easily get oynx within a month.

Of course you could get oynx with less from promo (but a rough estimate without promo means around $6000 of dealing to get there and $3000 to maintain... tho if you can deduct points, i guess it drops to $1000+) and such but still a lot of dealing with EB to get there in forms of buying and trading. In the last 20 months, pretty much all my trade with EB has been DS4 and all purchase has being CE (not that i buy many per year... like 10 or so in the last 2 years, only ni no kuni 2 and nba 2k19 CE this year).

Of course for me it would really just be trade ins earning double (so the total is even higher since new purchases earn $1 while recycled earns 2) since i dont but used unless i plan on flipping it (prefer to buy new and also not gutted, reason i dont buy anything at eb except CEs). Plus i keep my games after im done with them instead of trading them in (i.e. i have every NHL game since 93, all nba 2k, nhl powerplay, etc), which is another reason i only buy new. Everyone has their own spending habits but personally i find much better deals on games elsewhere (better sales and PM at BB, PCO at SDM plus discount on games normally not on sale, pre order/prime discount on amazon, source had $25 off $100 till this year, etc... even e3 pre orders WM had better deals than EB).
