Can anyone comment on this price point? I remember buying the V7 last year for $220, and wondering if this is the best deal that's been out for the V8 this year. I've purchased 3 refurbs from Dyson, and they've all been new devices and worked perfectly fine thus far, so the refurbs are definitely reliable. Thanks!!

The V8B have been at this price ~2-3 weeks ago too. What was better was the V8H/absolute for ~ $320 last year with discount and ebay coupon cause it came with the soft roller head (~$100 value retail) . The V10s refurbished are lowering in price as well. But no dual vacuum head version yet in the refurb store

Thanks. I'm on the fence about this one... Maybe I'll wait for the V10 to come down...

I really, really like my V8H. It mostly replaces our canister Dyson. We have hardwood floors so it's nice to have the soft roller head. I had the V7 and gave it away after getting the V8. Highly recommend V8. Haven't tried the V10 yet, but will eventually get one I think.

I paid $287.99 in April this year so, yeah, it’s even $1cheaper now.

I dropped my V8 on floor yesterday, and broke the main motor body near the handle. The V8 is 2 years old, don't know how much it will cost to fix. Maybe I should just get a new one from this deal.

So the head on this one can't be used on laminate/hardwood/tile? Need the soft head?

I use the motorized head on hardwood floors with no issues. I have both the soft head and motorized head but I prefer the motorized head because it does a better job picking up crumbs.

My Dyson outlasted my lux by 3 years. I used both on tile so I know it is good for that even without soft heads.
