Thanks. Also got $10 towards my purchase for using the ebay app for the first time. 18 pairs of socks for $23 seems like a great deal

No hate for OP, but the older I get, the less I can do the excessive branding. Doesn't help it's 98% polyester either.

Anyone have any other recommendations in a cotton variant, same style?

Polyester retains more odors, doesn't absorb as much sweat compared to cotton.

Is there anything else? (as in any other material facts to add)

No one seems to make cotton socks anymore though. Literally every sock I see is mostly polyester and varying degrees of spandex

I thought cotton was bad precisely because it retains so much moisture and cooks your foot in a sweat bath
I'm confused

As long as it's 75+ percent of cotton, it should be fine. Blends are the best anyways offering a little of everything. Gildan or Fruit of the Loom are usually good.

Ah yes that's why athletic wear are all made of cotton, so they can absorb and hold all that sweat which is much more comfortable during a workout than polyester which wicks away sweat and dries fast. Makes total sense.

Ok enough sarcasm, there is more misinformation in these threads about socks than a bored Christian housewife Facebook group. Educate yourselves:

Cotton absorbing and holding moisture is NOT a benefit. Why the hell would you want your socks to absorb and hold moisture? So you feet can feel damp and wet all day? You want polyester or a blend so it wicks away the sweat.

If you're in the GTA, OPM Warehouse sale up in Aurora has socks like this for around this price. You can "touch and feel" them to see how thick they are.

Cotton is healthier, natural, breathes and just feels better next to your skin.

Polyester is synthetic, doesn't breathe as well and doesn't feel as nice as natural fibres.

Cotton might cost more but I only buy clothes that are made from natural fibres as much as possible.
