Bear in mind the second gen M10 is coming out in April at 189 USD MSRP and comes with a Google Assistant dock instead of Alexa. Might be worth waiting for that instead.

Snapdragon 400-series, 3GB RAM. So faster than junky Mediatek SoC devices with 2GB, but not exactly a speed demon either.

How is Lenovo with support? Will they update the OS in 1 or or even 3 years from now?

I will never buy another Asus tablet. They drop support after a single year without even any security updates.

The problem with this tablet as a replacement for a Nexus 7 is size. Yes, it's nice to have the larger screen but I find that the Nexus 7's size much easier to just take around the house with me.

As for the slowness, I have to agree but I've found the apps I've loaded are what really slows the 7 down.

Which 7 do you have? the 2012? or the 2013?

Just wish I could find another 7 " with a good price range (yes, no iPad mini) and almost stock android. Might have to bite the bullet for this.
Same here. Still using my Nexus 7 (2013) on a daily basis. I still haven't found a good 7-8" replacement.

Pretty sure some sellers add stock little by little to build up hype, best to use your best judgement as to the hotness of a deal and hold back on knee jerk purchases.

Given the price of used Nexus 7 (2013), I rotate between two of them and keep the app load on them down to basics.

Not 100% sure. I would send them a question or ask their chat help on their website.
