I went through this to get the toysrus deal and let me tell you it was a nightmare. I have total 4 branch visits and 3 hours on the phone talking to various reps to get it resolved.

Try logging into your RBC Rewards account through a web browser. I didn't find the offer using the RBC Rewards App but found the offer after logging into my RBC Rewards account through a web browser.

When you pay using your RBC CC, RBC will verify the purchase and then credit you $10 on your balance owing. You can't use another CC, it won't work
This offer seems different. This offer looks like RBC provides you with a promo code to apply at checkout and it deducts discount prior to payment. So you probably can use a non-RBC credit card to check out.

I'm getting "You’re not Signed up for RBC Offers
Call us at 1-800-769-2511 or visit a branch and ask to have your Client Preferences updated to receive marketing on products and services. Your RBC Offers account will be set up within 4-6 weeks."

But the code can only obtain if you have RBC CC or someone kind enough to send you a code.

Correct - but you can pay using a non-RBC credit card which was what the original question was I believe.

The question now is whoever give you the code might end up getting his/her cc charge $10 because you used a non-RBC card to pay.

Yeah.. I wouldn't mind 4-6 hours, but 4-6 weeks for signing up for receiving marketing materials is seriously flawed... are they in 1970?

Nothing from eBay. Just these offers.
