I recently bought this vacuum as refurbished and it works great! No significant sign of scratches and with it's original package and accessories.
It works perfectly on my floors specially with all pet hair accumulating from my two dogs.

I got this vacuum from Costco for $400. No complaints other than I would love the convenience of cordless vacuums.

thank you, I bought one to replace my Dyson bigball. Btw, The Dyson bigball isn't a product I recommend. It's noisy, it throws stuff away instead of sucking it. Worst vacuum I ever had.

This is a very hot deal when combined with the 20% off code for RBC rewards Visa and RBC Visa Platinum Holders. Also the 2 year warranty is great.

These units seem to be Costco open box or returns based on the SBD-365 Head being included. My total came to $260.39 taxes in. Thanks a lot OP great Christmas gift for my Dad!

IMO, all Miele's are generally the same in terms of power so the main difference often pertains to vacuum heads.

A lot of the entry level Miele's have this god awful adjustable head that can do both carpet and hardwood. You'll know which one it is if it has that little button that adjusts the height. Don't even bother owning a Miele if this is the one you get, it's mediocre at best and you're better off putting your $200-$300 in an Electrolux, Shark, maybe even a Hoover.

The heads you do want depend on your flooring, but generally you want at least 1 of ...
- ($70ish) Parquet head for hardwood/tiles (OPs has a similar one included which is what makes this machine a decent buy).
- ($100ish) For carpet, a turbo (air powered) or power head (electric - requires a Miele with a plug-in). The main thing about these is they have a spinning agitator brush which grabs hairs and vibrates the carpet to help lift more dirt.

If you have minimal carpet or minimal hardwood, you can get away with the adjustable head, but generally you probably won't be impressed.

Agree with RBC rewards this one and their Triflex is at a hot price.

Anyone have any thoughts on the MIELE BAGLESS CX1 BLIZZARD UNIVERSAL POWERLINE VACUUM CLEANER being advertised by a different seller for the same price?

I can't find any reviews on a UNIVERSAL line anywhere on google. It seems like the CX1 comes in the forms of:

Pure Suction
Turbo Team
Electro+
Cat & Dog
Homecare

No mention of UNIVERSAL anywhere.

This probably isn't their specialty but does anyone know how their cordless stick vacuums are?

Can someone convince me that these arent a PITA to lug around while cleaning?

I find them easier than upright dyson I had before. I hated vacuuming my stairs with dyson, With this one it is a breeze. With dyson you are lugging whole vacuum, with Miele, you just have wand and powerhead that is really easy to push and pull. I got Miele Complete C3 Excellence for $490 form different seller (Miele refurb as well) and love it.

They are way lighter than any other canister vacuum I've tried (including Dyson) which makes them way more maneuverable.

I even prefer it over the stick vacuums I've tried, something about the Miele just feels real good.

I've had my Miele for 10 years now and everyone who uses it always comments on how nice it is.

At this price I'm tempted to buy a 2nd one for my in-laws to replace their Dyson canister.

I am about to pull the trigger on the refurb C3 Excellence from the same seller as you but was hesitant because of the refurb condition. From my research, the lowest the Excellence goes down to is $600-650 with the last sale in Sep, 2021. My central vacuum just died and my Shark Rocket Pro won't cut it for our weekly deep cleaning (not enough run time). Reason why I went with this seller is because of the good seller rating and it's actually a Miele showroom store located in Richmond hill
