[eBay.ca] Samsung 970 EVO M.2 NVMe 500GB $155.99 + tax from NewEgg Canada on eBay(Dead. Out of stock now.)

Seems to be the lone place to have this historical low price on eBay through NewEgg Canada. Didn't find any other competitors to have the same price.

*Dead. Out of stock now.

Considering the recent SSD drops, this is an average deal at best.

Plus, 95% of people won't benefit from the speed anyways. May as well get a 1tb for this price.
I got Fido and Public Mobile. [removed solicitation] ????

Looking for nvme drive.
I need for my laptop. I will keep the regular 1tb and add a nvme diver.
I dont want to invest too much money and I will be happy loading over there just windows and few other programs. All the gaming can stay on the 1tb storage.

Do you think 128gb is enough or I should go 256?
What price should i consider hot for that storages?

Thanks

Prices are pretty hot right now, I’d go 256 to give you some breathing room. Not many SSDs operate well at full capacity. For under 200 you can even replace your data drive with 1TB now.

I want to build my PC for next year but I don't think this will cover my needs. I was considering 2x 1tb not 2x 500gig. I use 500 gig now and with games being up to and even at times over 100 gigs alone I think I rather go with a higher storage model. I do a lot of video recording, etc as well so I benifit from the m2s.

If you're gonna build your PC next year, then keep waiting. SSD prices are forecast to continue dropping through Q1 and Q2.

Forecasted by who, artificial component shortages are forthcoming, don't raise your expectations too high.

Man, I got my 256g 970 nvme just a few weeks ago for like $129. Anyways, not sure why someone would even downvote this, it's like a historical low price for a product and also from like only one retailer(also reputable retailer too, not like it's Tiger direct or something) we need more posts like this on RFD, upvoted.
