[eBay.ca] Samsung Note 8 Deep Sea Blue $599.99

Seems to be good price for previous gen Note. Brand new with box and accessories according to the seller.

Strange, just checked the link. Seems to be working for me.

This is not a bad price, my phone took a pretty bad tumble cracking both front and rear glass. The cost for replacement is $400 for the front, and $105 for the back. So I'd be much more inclined to get a new replacement for almost the same price.

Why would you buy this when you can get the note 9 for like $687 which has 128GB of storage?

Cause it's not a NA variant like this. Imported units do not have all functionality enabled like samsung pay for example. So, it depends on the needs. A Note 9 of comparison to this is still $1000.

You can literally buy the Canadian note 9 seller refurbished for $699 on eBay though. I guess if you don't need the extra storage and newer tech it doesn't matter

Yes, understand, but this is also brand new in box and not seller refurb where warranty is none existent. Also, I was gunning for the Note 9 from pda that you mentioned, until I saw that the Enxyos cpu was slower than my broken screen S7E. Storage isn't a deal breaker as Sammy has the sd slot and newer tech like camera isn't a big selling feature when it adds $300-$400. My goal is SD cpu, SD slot and although I really want great battery life, if I can get through a day without charge, I'm happy. This fits the bill, since most bst threads on a Note 8 is still $500+ and Note9s are $800+ but again, no warranty.

If you can show me a sub $700 Canadian Note9 with warranty over 3 months, I'd be stoked. I can't seem to find anything. Same for the S9, S9+, etc..

Note 9s on BST can be he had for $750 (even since couple months ago) and Note 8s I've seen for $450. With note 10 around the corner, expect even further price drops

Newer device will be supported longer from now, it’s worth factoring that into the price.
