Good find!
Currently on the market for a video card, was building PCs 10 years ago so now I don't know all these new parts anymore.
Is it a better deal than the comparable 1060 6Gb? CDN$ 337.67 & FREE Shipping. (If you don't mind waiting for the restock)
https://www.amazon.ca/MSI-GTX-1060-6GT- ... 01JGYEE3E/

Comparable card according to this..
http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AM ... 3923vs3639

Looks like I only pay 5% tax on newegg, this might seal the deal.

Good price at $337.67 if you don't mind waiting.

Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB and AMD RX580 8GB are pretty much on part. Both are very good cards.

Consideration: Nvidia's cards are consuming less power.
If you plan to acquire a gaming monitor in the future, get the right monitor according to the GPU .. NVIDIA = G-Sync, AMD = FREESYNC (Freesync 2 now).

I agree with everything that BeKindToEa... said. Just one more thing if I might add -> You can Crossfire the RX 580 with another RX 580 card or even crossfire it with the RX 480 (both are made from the same architecture). On the other hand is it worth using Crossfire (dual or tri GPU) set-up? Probably not. Nvidia made the GTX 1050 & 1060 with no SLI support. Only the GTX 1070 & up is able to do SLI. And G-Sync monitors are really expensive compared to FreeSync monitors. Food for thought. I'm actually going to go for a different Sapphire RX 580 8GB model where the covering is blue with white trimmings.

just a fyi:

Late September or early October, Ethereum will likely hard fork and the ETH rewards will go from 5 to 3. For a lot of miners this will make mining ETH unprofitable after the cost of power and you may see a flood of AMD 2-5xx in the used market for good prices.

That possibly holds true for Ethereum but there are so many cryptocurrencies that can be mined as an alternative that I don't foresee people dumping their cards only because Ethereum mining isn't profitable anymore so take with a grain of salt.

Should have bought it, if purchases were honored (as it is saying "Listing was removed due to error in listing).
Amazon is probably OOS forever, all cards are hard to find now at decent prices :(
Vega is not going to drop prices at all. Let's hope for a more stable market in a few weeks. Buying some parts right now, waiting for a good price on the card.
