Still a ripoff for a no-frills controller but this thing seems to hardly ever go on sale

Once there was a real deal in front of me I did not cherish. Not until it went OOS did I learn to regret. There's no greater sorrow. If heavens would grant me another chance I would buy buy buy. If I must put down a quantity, I hope it is 10000

I should have bought it in Montreal when there was 45000 points for $125 spend along with giftcard promo. My trusty shoppers with good videogame selection (Centre and Bathurst in Vaughan) is undergoing renovation and doesn't seem to be carrying videogames anymore.

I've seen them at most of the Shoppers' that sell video games. Most recently I saw them at the one at Brimley and Eglinton.

I have been thinking of getting this one https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B079B5KHWQ as a cheaper alternative and to use my other controllers; anyone has experience? Lets us use PS3/XBOX etc. controllers in Switch

Another option that I recently purchased ($33 shipped):

https://www.amazon.ca/Wireless-Controll ... dpSrc=srch

I have only played with it once so far, but I have no complaints. For my use, a pro controller is a once in a while thing. I quite like the joy cons, so spending close to 100 on a separate controller was a big NO from me. While this one may not have longevity, it feels great right out of the box and I am sure it will be worth the ~60% savings.

I find the joycons analog sticks a little too short. Sometimes when the action is intense i don't get the precision I want. Will check out costco as the $33 one is intriguing, but I'm guessing the quality won't be the same as Nintendo's high standards.

If you want to use a PS3,PS4 or Xbox One controller instead, you can buy an 8bitdo adapter for $26.35 (all-in). Bought one of these a month ago and works very well with PS4 controller (vibration, motion controls work). Also worked with my PC. Works with my Wii U controller as well, but no vibrate or motion controls.

I have this one and it works well. Took about two weeks for shipping though. Make sure you enable Wired Pro Controller in Switch Settings.

I am assuming it's exactly the same product? I don't mind paying a little extra for quicker shipping and ease of return. Plus, I want to be ready when Mario Tennis comes out this weekend. :P

How easy is the pairing process if I want to switch between controllers? Also, can I literally just move the device between switch and pc when I want to use it with each respective device?

Another option is the 8bitdo sn30 pro controller. They work fantastic and have the bonus of looking retro. Only thing missing is the NFC reader for amiibo and the Hd rumble is just regular rumble.

Also it's easy to pair with multiple devices.

If you have PC points to spend, waiting for a bonus 25% day at Shoppers is another option.

Anyone know of any Shoppers in Toronto downtown or East End that carries the Pro controller?
