I ha e the dell pq28 $299 from Microsoft sale. Aside from the 30hz the color is brilliant. Angle are bad but who sits sideways to their monitors?

IVe got one and its awesome for a TN panel, you do have to center it in front of you, but has great color and is fairly fast. Does 60Hz over Displayport, works well with my CF'd 290X's but I agree, WAY better deals out there for this

Thats your opinion, my opinion is that youre paying lots of money for a cheap display. Doesnt matter how many pixels are on the screen when the panel itself is low quality

I paid $399 when it came out on a deal. Sold my IPS U2711 and havent looked back. It is a TN panel but a very good one. All the reviews ive read said the same thing. Sorry you didnt like it, I love mine though. Everything is razor sharp, for the price at 4K, you cant beat it.

Same here. Very Satisfied from Sept 2014 NCIX purchase. I came from using 3 x Acer 1080P in Eyefinity mode from 2009 with crossfired HD5870s. Presently using with SLI GTX970s.

It's 30Hz over its HDMI 1.4 port, but 60Hz over its DisplayPort 1.2 port. If you plan to use a 4K monitor, your graphic card should already have a DisplayPort, so it's not that big a concern.

That said, 4K is still not mature enough and costs way too much for now. Personally, I'd wait until HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.3 are more mainstream and I bet price might drop at least by half then.
