Ebay seller - issue

So I joined ebay based on the offer to sell for $1

Never sold before. I used the recommended option of start your auction with $0.99. Ebay said this was the best so I just went with it.

I then didn't log in for a week. Realize the item sold at 0.99 and the buyer wants me to honor it.

Separately, I actually sold the item on Craigslist as I had a separate listing there.

I cancelled the order within a few hours, once I realized what happened. The (only) buyer sent me a message saying that I should change the address on the order - only then did I realize what happened.

Now the buyer is selling me nasty messages.

I feel bad but I didn't realize the implications of all this.

What options do I have? No flaming please.

Just tell the buyer the truth. You obviously messed up and are in the wrong here. I suggest not selling on ebay again if you can't honor a price or sale. Your seller account might go into bad standing after this so just stick to craigslist.
😎Thanks RFD😎
