Abusive policies that screw sellers. Sold an item. Sent it with tracking. Tracking showed received. Buyer left positive feedback. Money was "on hold" by Paypal. Called up and asked WTF?! They said they leaving it on hold just in case the buyer decided to make a claim. This after paying 13% in fees! After that incident last year, I closed my Paypal account and am only a buyer on eBay.

Just recently sold my 20 yr old account to a seller of Microsoft Windows and Office keys to use and abuse for $450.

eBay can go F*ck itself.

That's only for the first few sales. They only held my money for my first sale after that it was always instantly in my paypal account after that.

I have a 20yr old eBay account with a rating of over 1100. Sold plenty of stuff. For some reason, I was "randomly" chosen for extra scrutiny for "my" safety apparently.

When it was 20% off, I bought RAM, SSD, Nintendo Switch, Brake Pads and Rotors, Milwaukee M12 Power Tools, etc. I spent close to $1000 on that day...

If eBay wants me to continue shopping with them, they need to bring back 20% off......not these cheap 10% or 15% off certain items...

Easy to abuse this one too. Ok so yesterday I asked a seller to change his listing to a different category then I bought it. Just saving 10 bucks.

So you can ask the item you are interested seller to change it to whatever category that is not electronics. Anybody tried this before lol? I just played with small amount of saving for fun. They can't charge you the saving forcefully. Maybe they audit major sales but max is only 100 USD big deal for them right?
