[Eddie Bauer] Eddie Bauer Guide Pro shorts $46.99 (regular $95)

I'd been looking for these to go on sale, as I have a few pair Guide Pro long pants and find they're excellent for travel with their zippered side pockets that keep phone and passport secure.

I was told in store that these never go on sale. I laughed. Here they are on sale.

They shift the regular price around all the time, especially on these. They're around $45 more often than not.
Didn't disagree there great shorts, I've been holding out for them to hit around 30-35 again.

Honest question - are they worth the 'sale' price?

I've been purchasing more UPF related outfits - got some good travel pants this year for our trip down under this December, have a few sun shirts as well now, debating taking my golf/polo shirts since they have good UPF rating - not sure if this is worth a trigger or not?

Item claims UPF 50+. I can't say I've ever gotten tanned or burned through any shorts I've ever owned, and if skin sun damage was most important I'd not be wearing shorts at all.

Interesting. I don't see any tall pants, but still tall options for shirts.

These shorts are great... I have many pairs and they last and look good for a long time. I may grab a few more colours, thank you.

Not sure why this is being downvoted so much. EB, especially their First Ascent line, is quite decent for casual and activewear.

I am not sure they will go that low anymore ( at least during the spring/ summer season). They are retailing for around 95 now, so that will be almost a 70% discount.

I bought a pair of them during the 40% off sale last week and was able to price match ( Apparently, now you only have 7 days to price match , used to be14 days just last year.)

Obviously good for hiking, but these are also great travel/vacation shorts thanks to the abundant pockets and the water resistant fabric.

Isn't too tight for putting stuff in the pickets?
