As long as the item is still for sale in the clearance section, they are super good about doing price adjustments. Just open a live chat.

Somehow EB is the only company who's customer service got better when it was outsourced to Asia IMO. The USA based support they used to have was useless with CA orders.

Thanks for the tip, will give it a try... Worth getting back $20 for a little effort.

Also there are new items in the clearance section today.

How have returns been for everyone? I plan on stopping by a store to do some returns today, from one of their previous sales. I was going to return online, but there is a shipping fee.

Man I can hope. There is a jacket I want but can't justify the price right now.... I went on the US site (the US and CAD sites are identical) and put the jacket in my cart. $64 and free shipping was a go for me. Then I realized the errors of my ways when I tried to pay for it. On the Canadian site its $80 + $10 shipping. Gave me pause and now I'm not going to order it.

I know it doesn't sound like a lot of money but Its a want, not a need. Another 10% off and I think I'll bite.

My poor attempt at sarcasm. Just the other day they had a 50% off sale that was also for ONE DAY Only.

For a lot of things, Eddie Bauer is trash for that level of money. If you're looking for quality, go elsewhere. If you're looking for price, go elsewhere.

They are always on sale, question is, whether its 50% or 60%. Why not just price the products lower!

They used to offer lifetime warranty on all their products, clearance too. Think now it's only 1yr manufacturers.

Take that how you will, their quality is def not the same as before.

People like the idea of getting deals, thats why we are all here on RFD right.

JC Penney lost a lot of money doing what you said, people found that lower everyday price "cheap" instead of being a "great deal"

Reminds me of a shirt I bought at Costco for about $25 (regular price). A few months later, I saw the exact same shirt at The Bay for 70% off. Great deal, except the 70% off price was about $35.

Whatever is put as "regular price" is assumed by many to be "worth that price" - even if no one every paid that inflated retail price. Some stores like The Gap, Old Navy, etc., have played the game far too long. When everything will soon be at 50% off at those stores, why would anyone buy it at regular. So, they were forced to offer additional incentives past 50%. It's a downhill slide, as they'll never be able to sell at anything less than 50% off after awhile.

People get tired of needing a calculator to figure out "their actual price".
Now, they sell The Gap clothes at Wal-mart at "Everyday Low Prices".

So I broke down and decided to order the item I wanted, was $80. So instead of paying $10 for shipping i figured i'd find something else. Found a pair of pants for $20, PERFECT!!! Now at $100 in my cart I head for the checkout only to find that I still needed to pay for shipping??? Can't figure out what I am doing wrong so I call customer service. "We're sorry, free shipping is on orders over $100. You need to spend at least $100.01 pre tax to qualify for free shipping."

If you know anywhere that sells decent tall clothing for cheaper than this I am all ears.

The only other option I see is old navy and while very cheap their clothing quality is very bad
