Does anyone know how they compare to the Logitech Z623 2.1?

Would it be an upgrade or downgrade?

I also want to know if you can use the BT device to adjust volume rather than the speaker directly, can someone confirm?

I have a question, even I have 980T's and 1280T's and now thinking to buy this as well, i don't have a external Amp, is there a way I can connect all of this six speakers using an external Amp to Power them?

Can anyone answer this please?

These speakers are better, Not knocking Logitech though, as they do produce some very useful speaker products.

waiting for a stellar deal on the R1700BT, anything under is not worth imo; garbage sound.

why would you use an external amp to power powered-speakers lmfao. you can use RCA audio splitters or a multi-channel mixer if you want to be fancy, the speakers will power themselves just fine.

both an upgrade and a downgrade.

the satellite speakers in logitechs are usually pretty piss-poor so these speakers serving as satellites will be superior. however, these speakers only go 75ish hz so you're missing that sub and that "home-theatre experience". no low sounds for you unless you pair it with a subwoofer with input + output features.
think first, buy later.

I mean I want to keep one audio source which is coming out from my TV via its 3.5mm and want to split the same source towards all -speakers 980T's, 1280T's and this 1010BT and I have a external Powered 10inch woofer too....I don't have a external amp..... How can I arrange these together ? please guide me...

Right now I just split TV 3.5mm port to 2 female 3.5mm- -- one goes to 980T's and other line goes to my 10inch woofer, I want to extend and add 1280's and 1010BT's in this same setup
Please guide

I plan on having these up above my kitchen cabinets hidden. Does this mean that BT (if enabled) is 'active' always......? ie: broadcasting. I do not want auto-connect......but I can't be climbing up to enable Bluetooth every time I want to connect.
