Edifier.com is running a sale right now on some of the higher end products including $200+ off the S3000pro. Best value seems to be the R1850DB at 40% off. There are some decent discounts on the headphones as well.

Got the S350DB from Grand and Toy sale. Gotta admit I was very impressed with Edifier.

R1280T has better components but lack of Bluetooth compared to R1010BT. Also aesthetically very different so to each his own. Either one is much better than most small plastic speakers.

R2000DB worth it over R1850DB for PC use/tv in small room?

These basically buy know think later? Or just average deal?

Thank you for sharing. Bought some cheap buds, not sure what to expect.

I got the 1700 at the last amazon sale. I think the r1850db has a sub output and an optical input. I don't think I need either.

Is it a big upgrade, otherwise?

W830BT should be the to go pair, unless you are looking for ANC.

Assumed you are talking about Bluetooth headphones. For wired ones just get the H840.

I am having the same dilemma, seems the power is a couple watts up and the cabinets seem to be a bit bigger, but the drivers are the same. I almost went for it but I'm not sure it's worth the hassle for sub and Digi in as an upgrade. I would have gone for the 1850's over the 1700s if this deal was on a month ago though.
