Im kinda getting the hitch to replace my old POLK RM101 Kit but it looks like Edifier doesnt have a front three speaker set up for home theater... thats a bummer.

Thanks OP. I just bought the R980T for $90 at AZ and was quite happy with them -- for that price, they couldn't be beat. The R1850DB at $60 more was a no brainer.

Thanks again for the heads up.

Imo s3000pro doesn’t need a center. Center imaging and clarity is superb.

I am currently using R980T with my TV and iam using a Y- splitter to hook a 10''Onkyo Subwoofer through AUX... perfomance is ok but its not too loud as R980T's are only 24watts
Do you think 1850's would be a good upgrade for me? as I currently have active subwoofer as well?

I bought the 980 on AZ at $90. But at $150 from Edifier direct, the 1850 is a no-brainer.

That's my point? At the regular price (confirmed at three humps), the sale price was a no brainer.

The TWS2 are the same price so wouldn't that be the better buy?

The 1850s are amazing especially for the price. I was going to return them but couldn't resist trying it out. I love how strong, clean and crisp the sound is as I can really hear the trebles piercing through the other levels.

I am spoiled as I have a Harmon Kardon Soundsticks III in the office, the Edifier S350DB for my gaming system and now the R1850DB for my kitchen of all places lol. It's a bit of an overkill but I can't get myself to return it at this price lol.

How do you find the difference between S350DB and R1850DB? which is more strong, clean and crisp?

Pretty sure TWS1 is the higher end model. Much longer battery life.
