This is the HK/Taiwan version so you get 64gb of storage and the quad DAC which apparently sounds amazing. Shipping is super-fast - delivered 2-4 days after the order is placed.

Saw this in the LG V20 thread, I ordered the platinum one a few days ago. Decided I want to pay more for the white one so I tried to cancel. They are asking me why I want to cancel. I can't make up my mind! Is it worth paying $31usd extra for the white version. That's like $50 cdn or 5 bowls of pho/ 5 foot long subways, 5 overpriced beers at a Whitecaps game. Help me internet! Anyways, good customer service so far.

Dessi, did you have to pay $10 for shipping? I had to but I used a code from the LG v20 thread to get $10 off.

Another thing is, they only accept paypal. Paypal's exchange rate is $0.77usd.

Can't you use your own card to get a better exchange rate? There's Rogers / Fido that gives you $1.5% net faourable or Amazon that has no exchange fees.

As for the white version, not worth it since it will most likely be in a case.

How much did you pay for the platinum one? I can take it off you?

I used the $10 off code as well! Totally forgot to throw that out there I will update the post .

The white looks really good especially with the gold trim however I couldn't justify paying extra for it so just went with Platinum.

H870DS is the HK/Taiwan version. Using one now and works great over Rogers LTE. I have two sim in it with one being unlimited data and the quad DAC is mind blowing. Everything else sounds like junk now!

That's amazing - so I can have a data only sim in it and a talk/text sim and the two will work simutaneously?

If that's the case I need to start looking into which data only plan can bring me some savings.

I didn't know the white one came with gold trim. When I saw it, I almost busted a nut. Now I have to get it. Just replied to customer service. $449 for white one. Can someone confirm it come with gold frame?

Yes. The bandwidth of the bluetooth wouldn't be able to benefit from the quad dac in any case. With that said this has aptx-HD which is the higher bandwidth bluetooth codec. Bluetooth audio works amazing on all my headphones.
