Great info - thanks for all the advice.samhth wrote: ↑ I answered this in another thread but here you go:
I went this Saturday. I was there around 6pm. To sign up for the elements card, it took us 20 mins in line. The casino was packed full! There was a decent line at the restaurant but it does move fast since the restaurant seats 300 people so the line is always moving; we ended up waiting another 15-20 mins.
You pay upfront and you get seated. Buffet is not that big. When they say the main course is lobster tails and prime rib that is it literally. Other dishes are complementing those dishes. Salad bar is decent nothing special or amazing (potato salad and coleslaw were good). They had spiced rice (too greasy and oily), mashed potatoes (pretty good, but who cares about that right?), chicken and veggies stir fried (average, wouldn't waste my time there), pasta (didn't try that, it is regular tomato paste pasta), and fried greens (green peas....).
You only get one lobster tail per serving. So you cant grab two tails. The guy hands you one and you go to your table, come as many times as you want. Same thing with the prime rib but they didn't enforce it that bad.
They had pizza, I tried it to be able to review it, nothing special but I wouldn't my waste time on it. Plus they had gravy and garlic butter for the main dishes.
Pop fountain was free and they had free self serve coffee.
Dessert was surprisingly good. Well let me just say the NY cheesecake was amazing! A lot of people just went straight for that and skipped all the other desserts.
Would I pay $15 if they did not have lobster tails? Simply no, not worth it. Even with lobster tails I only ended up eating 4. I was expecting I can pull of way more, but each time I went I grabbed a prime rib slice, with the gravy and trying everything I filled up fast. BUT given the lobster tails and for only $15, you can not beat that.
I did ask the waiter which nights are the busiest and she said, lobster tail nights and bbq nights. There is NO time limit but it does get crowded. When we left around 8-8.30pm the line at the restaurant was huge (50 people waiting), but the line does move fast.
