Eligible for new credit increase soon after credit line increase?

So I received a letter from MBNA about a month back that i was eligible for a credit line increase of $700, and I did take it, but I got a letter again few days back (about a month has passed) and it says that I'm eligible once again for $700. Is this simply a mistake?

I would call their customer service and ask. I received a call too in March that I was eligible for a credit increase but I did not need it at the time so I did not take it. The amount offered at the time was 3000 dollars. Then recently i received a letter saying I was eligible for 5000. It seems they regularly offer credit increase to eligible customers.

Same think happened to me. About 1.5 months ago I got an offer to increase my limit by $3k which I accepted. Then last week I got another letter offering a $3k increase again. I called them this time to check and it was indeed the same offer and not a new one. Kind of stupid of them to send it out again to people who have already accepted the offer.
