Enbridge Gas Billing - No Invoices for 2 Months ... saying "System Issues"

Normally I would receive an email from Enbridge monthly around the 18th of each month with the invoice attached.

It's been 2 months and nothing since January 18 2022.

I called them up last month and they said they had system issues and couldn't generate anything.

They said as long as your account says "Your account is up to date and no payment is required at this time." and it's all good ... indicating that the next invoice will be comprised of TWO bills.

Just logged into my account and still nothing.

Anybody else having the same problem of no bills for 2 months??

UPDATE: Just called them again ... Enbridge said that they are experiencing delays in billing due to system issues ... advised that I may receive one bill with 3 invoices as they have absolutely no idea what the timeline is to have this system issue rectified.

Our bill was delayed by about 3 months and we got this recently -

I had a missed bill as a result of my own submitted meter reading conflicting with their reading (not estimate). The delta was high enough that it triggered billing suspension for a few months, but eventually got a bill including the backdated periods.

As long as your account says no balance, you’re ok (and sounds like the rep said as such). If you’re worried, you can advance some $ over anyways which will be applied against the bill when you get it.

My bill is actually delayed right now as well, but good to hear they’ve acknowledged some internal issues.

Last winter I had that happen where they skipped a single bill due to system issues and added it to the next bill.

Our Enbridge bill arrived by e-mail this morning (payment is due April 11). All Enbridge bills have been received on time.

I've been receiving the Monthly Email letting me know my Bill is ready.
just received my March Bill Email.

Enbridge always wants my money and I've never NOT received a bill email from them. Good that the OP caught it so that he doesn't get dinged with late fees.

We did a seasonal startup in Nov. 2021 and have not received a bill since last spring. My wife chased them for the bill as she likes to get these thing paid on time. The problem(s) involved some kind of accounting transition that is not going smoothly.
I've been saying - don't worry about it. Let Enbridge sort it out and pay them when - or IF - we ever get a bill. We don't live 'paycheck to paycheck' so this isn't going to put us in a lurch at anytime.

Wonder if this is regional as we have been getting bills monthly.

Next bill should be interesting as was out of town last time when they asked for reading.
2022: BOC raised 8 times and MCAP raised its prime next day.
2017 to 2018: BOC raised rates 5 times and MCAP raised its prime next day each time.
2020: BOC dropped rates 3 times and MCAP waited to drop its prime to include all 3 drops.

UPDATE: Bill finally came via email ... 2 months ... no late payment fees/charges ... they detailed the costs for each month ... JAN-FEB and FEB-MAR ... meter reading was off a couple days ... accurate enough.

Mine is generally off a bit as well due to the estimated usage every other month, however, as you put it “accurate enough”
