First, redeem your Free Grand Theft Auto V from registering to Epic Games as mentioned in this thread:
epic-games-gta-v-pc-game-free-may-14-21-2375410/

Afterwards, they give you a "$10 off" coupon to be redeemed on a game in the sale (whose sale price is $20.99 or above). The coupon appears to be $10 US and converts to $14 CAD even. Each time you buy a game, you get another $14 (CAD) coupon!!

There are a lot of good games on sale, but one of the best deals I've seen is for Control.

Click on the Epic Mega Sale banner on the main webpage (you may have to check later as the website is getting HAMMERED with traffic):
https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/

If you've already "bought" your free GTA:V then access the Epic Store from the Epic Games Launcher app instead. The store appears to be working more reliably there than on the web.

Control is 50% off - $65.99 down to $32.99. Using your new $14 off coupon, the sale price becomes $18.99, which is the cheapest I've ever seen for this game.

Some other good options from the MEGA sale are:
Borderlands 3 on sale $39.99 - $14 = $25.99
Mechwarrior 5 $38.49 - $14 = $24.49
Tetris Effect $30.79 - $14 = $16.79
Metro: Exodus $24.99 - $14 = $10.99
-even more in the sale!

Expired:
The Witcher III: Wild Hunt now $20.98, so the $14 off coupon does not work.

There appears to be no tax on purchases on the store, either!

A note that the game (or I believe combination of games) needs to be at least $20.99 CAD for the $14 CAD coupon to be applicable. There is no tax on it either. I'm eyeing Assassin's Creed Odyssey but so many others. RDR2 comes to 49.99 after coupon, the lowest price for PC since launch.

Website is getting hammered right now. If you've already gotten the free GTA:V (or even if you haven't), try doing all of this directly from the Epic Games Launcher app, which you'll need anyways:
https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/download

If that doesn't work, then try again later but I think you can get the free GTA:V and the coupons and everything all through the app.

Yep. Full game!
Looks like they're just getting overloaded with traffic. I think the sale is on for a few days so rest assured you should get it if you try later.

Part of the issue is probably that many people who have completed their purchases are now using all of their bandwidth to download the games.

LOL - this is how bad it's getting. Look at the download screen - mostly in Spanish. I've double checked my settings are in English and even going back and forward from French and English the download screen is in Spanish.

Hmm, Jackbox Party Pack 5 for $7.44 - current price on Fanatical is $13.59, with a low of $10.19. (Ain't it great that isthereanydeal.com has CAD pricing?) Very tempting, especially in these times.

The smart thing to do is not to buy anything until June 11 in case it ends up as a giveaway in the meantime.

Has anyone here tried these?

I also see the ever-popular Untitled Goose Game has made the cut.

403 forbidden. It looks like they are getting hit hard. Hopefully this sale sticks around for another day or maybe I'll try again later tonight

FWIW, I paid via PayPal - maybe that's why. But I'm fine paying QST rather than expose my CC to Epic :)

Good to know, that may have been a factor.

Regarding the CC - they actually have an option not to save the CC info on their website, but I wouldn't want to use my primary card with them anyways. That's why I have a second for online purchases like this.
